Our navigators are skilled in applying their knowledge and experience to a wide variety of challenging journeys. We meet you where you are and help guide you forward with the flow. As your river guides, we believe that hard work is enhanced by hard play, so we create a discovery environment that allows time for both. Public communication services include facilitated marketing plan development; media relations management; production of press releases, brochures, newsletters and reports; production of print, radio and television advertising; speech writing and presentation coaching. M.B. (Jerry) Handspicker has been active in the area of group conflict management since 1973. Jerry holds a Ph.D. from Yale Graduate School. He is a master programmer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is trained in Synectics, Mind Free and SolutionsMapping. He has been a professor at Andover Newton Theological School since 1967, where he has taught courses in interpersonal communications and human behavior in organizations. He is also a lecturer in the Harvard Medical School's Department of Psychiatry. From 1963 to 1967 he was a member of the Executive Staff of the World Council of Churches in Geneva, Switzerland, where he gained an international perspective on the nature of conflict and its many possible resolutions.
Amy Swisher has worked in public relations, planning and program development since 1980. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in performance studies and holds an M.Ed. From Antioch/New England Graduate School. She has developed multi-faceted marketing campaigns for clients in health care, education, business, the arts, politics and human services. She has taught public speaking at the college level, served as director of a United Way agency through its first two years of operation, and for 17 years was Director of Community Relations at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. She has studied and practiced Creative Problem Solving through the Creative Education Foundation in Buffalo, NY, and is trained in SolutionsMapping.
Chris Heintz has worked in marketing, hotel conference planning and customer service since 1980, both in the United States and the Far East. He has served as a consultant to both non-profit organizations and businesses. Since earning his M.A. from Andover Newton Theological School in 1987, he has been director of the International Symposium on Spirituality and Business.
