THE EVOLUTION

Leonardo Da Vinci -
One of the first to use the idea of what since has been called "visual displayed thinking." da Vinci sequenced ideas and images in his inventions, allowing him to see how the parts made up the whole.

Walt Disney -
Walt Disney first began using storyboards to sequence cartoons. Later, he realized storyboards could be used to sequence business processes by letting a team visually work with ideas.

Mike Vance -
Mike, a former minister, was hired by Walt Disney to serve as Director of Ideas and People Development. He also was Dean of Disney University. He felt something was missing from the storyboarding, so added action planning and communication pieces. He created Displayed Thinking® and today is one of the leading lecturers/trainers in creative leadership.

Professional Resources Group & RHScott Associates -
Rich Heiland and Dick Schultz, the principals in the two firms, have more than 15 years combined experience in visual group processes. Rich (RHS) and Dick (PRG) have worked together to evolve the process with even more focus and applications that give groups more flexibility to reach outcomes in record time, with no loss of quality.
